It is quite easy to see how to take the cross apart. Working out how to collapse the star takes much longer and is less obvious. Both puzzles are equally difficult to rebuild.

Bought these for my grand children. They are aged 14 and 16 and take many long journeys. Reports are they've solved the cross, but as stated, the star takes longer. For less than ten pounds they are great value considering how long they've occupied them. Will be buying another from this bamboo series.
