This puzzle is cheeky in the extreme. Our favourite puzzles are those with a simple solution that takes far longer to solve than it should. This one fits into that category very well indeed.

In days before keys and locks horsemen needed to find methods of 'locking their horses' if they fancied popping in for a swift pint on the way home. This classic horseshoe puzzle is one such result and is possibly the most famous classic puzzle in existence.

Separating these three identical pieces is just the beginning. The greatest challenge lies in understanding how to reassemble them correctly again. The solution is unique in the puzzling world, requiring three moves cunning enough to outwit the slyest fox.

We feel that the Menace Puzzle can possibly be described as the greatest metal puzzle ever invented. It holds that very thing that humans hate most about non living objects – it is almost certainly cleverer than they are. If you have no patience, don’t buy it. If you have a very small brain, don’t buy the Menace metal Puzzle. And if you fancy yourself as a bit of a problem solver, you may have met your match. The genius of this Menace Puzzle is the fact that a toddler could reconnect the pieces when separated in seconds. But once connected they are seemingly impossible to separate again.

This puzzle looks nice and friendly in it’s packaging... but is actually a most vindictive creation. It can fairly claim it’s brilliance through the simplicity of it’s design. Simple to solve though it is not.
