While (once you've got your Hanayama-solving-head on) the necessary moves to reach the solution for this puzzle may appear obvious, the manipulation of the pieces is quite tricky which adds quite a bit to the quality of the piece. The bumpy surface of the front of the starfish also helps hide the solution - Hanayama rate this a level 2 puzzle, but in my opinion it might just qualify as a level 3.
