The Hanayama News cast puzzle is another of Nob Yoshigahara's classic creations. Unfortunately, saying anything about this Hanayama puzzles construction gives too much away.

Another elegant Hanayama puzzle. The Nutcase only has two aims, disassemble the puzzle by removing the small nut, then change the wording on the bolt from 'nut case' to 'case nut'. Sounds simple? Think again.

There are two approaches to this puzzle, neither of which are in any way easy to find. It is very difficult to unravel due to the bonds that hold this structure together. Another elegant cast puzzle from Hanayama

Anyone who has purchased Hanayama puzzles before knows how well build they are - even coping with a few attempts to solve them through force. I liked this puzzle but would argue that it's not as difficult as the label makes out.
I've got the Enigma and that's much more difficult by far. Otherwise a nice addition to my Hanayama collection.
