I found two weaknesses with this puzzle - 1) once you've found how the pieces move you can randomly do basically the same thing until they come apart rather than have to actually think about solving it, and 2) the quality isn't up to the usual Hanayama standard, mine was snapped by a frustrated 12-year-old.

With the Hanayama Disk Puzzle the holes and rim pieces are different sizes, so these two metal disks are actually equivalent to a complex maze on a toroidal grid. A fantastic puzzle design by one of the master puzzlemakers Oskar van Deventer. Highly recommended if you've got a spare 20 minutes to rack your brain.
