The challenge seems so simple. Remove the pieces of the Cube from their box, then put them back in. How hard can it be? Really quite hard actually - possibly even harder than a tattooed docker on a Saturday night.

These brilliant puzzles are so compelling, so complex, and yet so seemingly straightforward, that you'll be poring over them forever. The Planet Bedlam Puzzle is super cool and with an astonishing 19,186 solutions, we still haven't cracked the cube. The Bedlam Cube is infuriating, addictive, utterly compelling, and a wonderfully brain-testing challenge.

The Bedlam creators say this is the hardest and most addictive 3D puzzle ever invented. The cube consists of 13 unique geometric shapes which must be put together to form a cube. Sounds easy, but take it from us, it isn't. This deceptively difficult puzzle has 19,186 different solutions and there are so many combinations of play that attempting it at random could take months - even years. It's only through practice and familiarity that the puzzle can be solved.

Having mentally tortured ourselves trying to solve the maddening Bedlam Cube without the aid of a blowtorch and sledgehammer, we were staggered to discover that its name is not inspired by the infamous lunatic asylum. The infuriatingly addictive Bedlam Cube is actually named after its creator, Bruce Bedlam.
